Physician Remote Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Access Workstation

Each of the Methodist Facilities offer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Access Workstations for physician use.  These workstations can access your office Electronic Medical Records system using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection*.  Click the Remote Desktop Connection desktop icon, enter your sever information, and logon. Methodist Healthcare’s Clinical Applications can be accessed as well providing a more comprehensive view of the patient record.  Insert your USB enabled drive and use Microsoft™ Word, Excel and, Power Point applications to edit, or create a new file.  Simply save your file on the USB drive when you’re through.   Internet restrictions have been relaxed on the workstations to allow open to access sensitive clinical sites which have been restricted at the units.
